Good for you getting yourself someth...Hi Kimberly,

Good for you getting yourself something for Valentines Day! I always do that on my birthday too. I remember well the years as a single mom, my husband married me with 5 children 2-12 years old, he's quite the saint!

I applaud you on your weight loss, what a great feeling to be 15 pounds lighter.
I don't think I would want to live without bread and ice cream, my two weeknesses. I just limit them according to my activity level, and eat ice cream once or twice a week. Probably the most important thing for balancing my weight I have done over the years is to eat as close to nature as I could, fruits, vegetables, dairy(cottage cheese and yogurt) cheese, and protein. I will tend to choose yams over potatoes, and whole wheat over white bread.

The Weston Price foundation talks alot about nutrition, and Jordan Ruben's book The Maker's Diet is one of my favorites.

I didn't see your comment on the sourdough starter until today, so put a comment for you to read a little more.

Thanks for reading my posts, JewelJewelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10612234598453063687noreply@blogger.com
