Oh My Muscles!

This will be day 3 (only day 3) of my Jillian workout and I am sore as hell. I am clearly out of shape, but even so, her program is an ass kicker. Its a 30 minute aerobic workout designed to be done each day. The DVD cover says you can lose up to 30 pounds in 6 weeks, and I believe that!  Each day is different and then after 1-2 weeks you move to the next one. Her workout includes warm-up and cool-down as well. You will need a pair of hand dumbbells for some of the exercises. I can tell you that each time I finish I am a sweaty mess and my heart is beating out of my chest.

I had put the weight back on, which I think was mostly water weight and now am back down 3 pounds so far! Can't wait to do it again tonight!

P.S. I have a new found respect for the Biggest Loser contestants. I'm hurting from a total of 1 hour..I can't imagine doing this all day, everyday!


  1. Good for you, Jack! I'm sure it's kicking your butt, but you're getting more and more fit each time you do it.

    i had to laugh, the song that came on when I first opened your blog was It's Raining Men....my first song of my just dance 2 workout. :) coincidence? I think not!

  2. Hallelujah it's raining men! LOL!!! I love that little radio haha. I'm fixing to log more weight loss! Going to try to wait a week before I log on MFP but I may log weight daily (if there is a loss) here for inspiration!

  3. Just be careful cause changes don't always show up....and don't get discouraged f there's a lil gain. That's why they say to weigh weekly.
    I'm almost to my WW 10% mini-goal...jazzed. That's 28.2 lbs :) We shall see.

  4. Im going to do my weekly weigh ins on MFP on Fridays! (Tomorrow) Cant wait to hear yours, I just know you have broken the 25 pound mark!!! And 10% goal, damn Becky, so proud of you!
